Beyonce is said to have forked out thousands of dollars to help fans get home after her concert kick-off was delayed for two hours in Washington DC.
The 41-year-old singer disappointed ticketholders at the FedEx Field stadium on Sunday when she finally appeared on stage two hours later than promised.
Her performance was impacted by a weather warning on the night that was issued on the back of severe weather in the area.
As a result of the shelter-in-place alarm, fans in the American venue worried they would struggle to find transport back home in the aftermath of the late show.
According to local news outlet ABC7, Beyonce and her tour paid for extra hours of service from the city’s Metro so that fans wouldn’t be stranded.
In total, she was reported to have spent $100,000 (£79,000) – a fee that covered the cost to run more trains, keep all the correlating 98 stations open so that customers could exit, as well as other necessary expenses to ensure the service ran smoothly.

The star’s gesture came after she paid tribute to a dancer who was killed in a homophobic attack while dancing to one of her hits.
O’Shae Sibley was targeted at a gas station in Brooklyn for voguing to the sound of Beyonce – a form of dance that first began in New York’s Black queer and trans ballroom community before filtering into the mainstream dancing scene.
The late professional dancer and choreographer was 28 at the time of his death and was enjoyuign a night out with his friends when he was killed.

He stopped at a gas station and got out to dance to the superstar’s much-loved song Renaissance as it was playing inside the parked car.
Sibley was then accosted by a group of men who demanded he ‘stop dancing’ amid hurling a torrent of abuse at him.

During her recent string of concerts, the pop star took a moment to remember her late fan and added a tribute to her website.
Sharing a simply put message in black and white text, she penned: ‘REST IN POWER O’SHEA SIBLEY’.
