Popular Channel 4 comedy The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan is set to end after gracing screens for four years, leaving fans wanting more.
Mo, 35, shared the news on Instagram that he would be wrapping up with a final episode on December 20 after launching the talk show in 2019.
In the style of other iconic chat shows, The Lateish Show featured celebrity interviews, comedy sketches, and a live band as it aired on Wednesdays at 10pm on Channel 4.
The show won two Baftas during its run, which the former Brits host mentioned as he shared the news with fans on Instagram.
He wrote: ‘So, big news to share… After four incredible years, The Christmas episode of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan which, transmits at 10pm on Wednesday 20th December will be my last.
‘I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of this show. It genuinely changed my life and has created an industry-wide impact. It’s won numerous awards and achieved even more nominations, but it’s the army of people behind the scenes that made it happen who are so important. There are so many moments that I’ll always look back on with so much happiness.

To endless creative meetings with all the team at Expectation who all worked so hard to try and make something with scale, joy and game changing ideas at its heart. ‘
He thanked the production team, the crew and staff at the studios, and of course the many ‘epic guests’.
The Lateish Show had the likes of Craig David, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Lily Allen, Katherine Ryan, and Joe Lycett all sit down for interviews over the years.
