Places of worship will be allowed to open for private individual prayer under government plans to be announced next week. A 10-foot (3m) great white shark has attacked and killed a 60-year-old surfer off of Australia, police have said. Several surfers tried to help the man after he was attacked in the waters off Salt Beach in South Kingscliff, New South Wales, just after 10 am on Sunday. All four officers involved in the arrest that ended in George Floyd’s death have now been charged and held on a $1 million bail each.  Derek Chauvin, the former police officer who kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes, had his charges expanded this week. His charges now include second-degree murder.
