Irrfan Khan dies Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has died at the age of 53. The actor became internationally recognised through his roles in Slumdog Millionaire and Jurassic World.  In 2018, the actor said on Twitter that he had been diagnosed with an endocrine tumour – a rare illness affecting cells that release hormones into the bloodstream.  Two months after his public announcement he wrote an open letter about his experience with the cancer treatment. Two children stabbed to death A one-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy have been stabbed to death at a house in east London.  The one-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on Aldborough Road North in Ilford. The boy was rushed to hospital but died later.  A 40-year-old man was also taken to hospital for treatment after suffering knife injuries.
