A defiant prime minister Boris Johnson has reportedly told his cabinet minister’s gathered at No 10, that he won’t quit as PM, despite their pleas he steps down.

Priti Patel has reportedly called on Boris Johnson to resign, according to sources. A delegation of cabinet ministers have gathered at No 10 to call on the PM to quit.

It looks almost certain, that we’re witnessing the downfall of Boris Johnson’s government – a mass exodus is underway, triggered by the shocking double resignations of Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak last night- Sunak being the biggest blow to the PM.
