Hage Geingob: Namibia’s president dies aged 82 Namibia’s President Hage Geingob has passed away while undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in the capital, Windhoek. The announcement was made by Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba, who revealed that Geingob died in the early hours of Sunday morning. Vice-President Mbumba said, “At his side was his dear wife Madame Monica Geingos and his children”.
