Anya Taylor-Joy did little to dispel rumours that she is married to Malcolm McRae when she stepped out with a sizeable diamond on her wedding finger.
The 26-year-old actress was out for the evening in New York when the pictures were taken of the ring on her left hand.
It’s thought that Anya, who starred in The Queen’s Gambit, married The More rockstar in the summer, as she started wearing the ring around this time. The couple reportedly wed in a modest courthouse ceremony in the US in July, according to Page Six.
They have never commented on speculation that they are married.
Anya conducted a ‘soft launch’ of her relationship in April 2021. She told Elle she was doing their Zoom interview from the bathroom as her partner was moving equipment around the house.
Pictures emerged a few times of the couple snogging after her hints, but they made their first public appearance together in March 2022 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

She spoke about their relationship to Vogue last year: ‘I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading. We’re basically 80 years old and seven at the same time and it works really well.’
She also sweetly added: ‘I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby.’
Anya revealed struggles that come from being in an often long-distance relationship due to both of their work schedules. Although it can be hard, she decided to see the positives.
‘When you’re together you’re really valuing the time that you have. Everyday mundane activities are so full of joy. I love going to the petrol station with him and filling up the car and going to get breakfast.’

In January he shared pics of the pair at Golden Globes, and aside from depicting what good cheekbones they have, he also used it as an opportunity to show his admiration.
He wrote: ‘I look up to my date in so many ways.’ Cute!
