Andrew Neil will not appear again on GB News despite promised return as a ‘regular contributor’
The i says Andrew Neil will not appear on GB News again, days after he made barbed criticisms of the channel during an appearance on BBC1’s Question Time.
The veteran broadcaster publicly quit his role as chairman and flagship presenter last week – having hosted his self-titled show for only eight episodes – and announced he would remain in a new role as a regular contributor.
But the agreement has fallen apart after one week amid a war of words between Mr Neil and GB News chief executive, Angelos Frangopoulos.
