NATO members collectively spend $1.47 trillion on defence this year. Most of NATO contributions are spent on US contractors and defence industry. There is also contributions to the civil budget of deployment, however, the biggest beneficiary of that money is the United States Defence industry. Increasing that spend ensures more money is spent in the US industry.
