Strictly star ‘splits from partner’ just weeks after finale
Tasha Ghouri has reportedly split from her boyfriend Andrew Le Page, just weeks after the Strictly Come Dancing final.
The pair first met on Love Island in 2022, and they quickly ticked off relationship milestones – meeting loved ones and purchasing their first home together. They were seemingly besotted with Tasha, 26, even sharing hopes that they would eventually get married.
However, after a busy few months of Tasha competing on Strictly with professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec they have grown apart, it is claimed. It is said that they quietly went their separate ways earlier this month.
‘Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly,’ a source told The Sun.
‘She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.’
On Friday, Tasha will be heading off on the nationwide tour for Strictly, meaning she’ll once again be away from 29-year-old Andrew.
‘They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman,’ the source concluded.
The publication also claims that Tasha is now on exclusive dating app Raya, where she describes herself as a ‘Northern girly’ who is ‘always smiling and laughing’. They shared alleged screengrabs of her profile, which featured pictures of Tasha that were previously on Instagram.
Despite the reported split, Tasha was pictured looking upbeat as she left the Strictly cast’s Birmingham hotel for rehearsals earlier today. The crew were heading to Utilita Arena ahead of the first show later this week.
She braced the January cold in a giant grey fluffy coat and smiled as she walked in front of Aljaz, 34. The dancer previously teased to Metro that it’s up to his daughter Lyra, who he shares with wife Janette Manrara, whether he continues on the show.
Tasha has been sharing small updates from the tour, which doesn’t include show winner Chris McCausland due to other commitments, on her Instagram account. Earlier today, she shared a picture with opera singer Wynne Evans, describing him as her ‘tour bestie’.
Before taking part in the BBC show, Tasha said she was unbothered by the Strictly curse and was confident in their relationship.
‘Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet,’ she stated.
‘I look at him and I’m like: “Yeah, that’s my man!” Me and Andrew trust each other 100%.
‘It’s not a make-or-break for us. We’re going to breeze through this because we’re going to marry each other one day, you know?’
Tasha and Andrew finished fourth on Love Island’s eighth series, which was won by Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her now ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti. She made history as the dating show’s first deaf contestant.
