Sir Elton John’s Glastonbury headline set has gone down in rock history, but that didn’t stop a Celebrity Gogglebox star from having a hilarious reaction to his performance.
The Rocketman, 76, played the Sunday night slot at Worthy Farm for his final ever UK performance amid his Farewell Tour.
Eschewing his deep cuts for wall-to-wall hits, the Tiny Dancer chart-topper played all his classics from Your Song to Bennie And The Jets.
While rumoured guest stars Dua Lipa and Britney Spears were no-shows, Sir Elton instead welcomed up-and-coming and emerging artists Jacob Lusk from Gabriels, Stephen Sanchez and Rina Sawayama, as well as The Killers’ Brandon Flowers.
Glastonbury revelers and viewers enjoying the action at home branded Sir Elton’s headline set the festival’s ‘best ever’ and described the icon’s performance as ‘timeless genius.’

Now the Celebrity Gogglebox stars have also shared their verdict on the piece of music history and one star in particular had an unusual take.
Jane McDonald, 60, who joined the beloved Channel 4 show this year with pal Sue, tuned into the BBC set and initially shared their disappointment they weren’t among the Glastonbury crowd.
Sue commented: ‘When you’re sitting at home this is when you wish you were there, innit.’
Jane’s first thought about Elton’s set was that she would need a Sheewee(Picture: ITV/Shutterstock)
Agreeing, Jane replied: ‘I know yeah.’
‘But then you think about it, you think, maybe not,’ Sue continued. ‘Maybe I’ll watch it from the comfort of my settee.’
Thinking hard, Jane shared her hot take: ‘We’d have to take a Shewee, wouldn’t we?’

Jane’s fellow Celebrity Gogglebox stars all heaped praise on Sir Elton, with I’m a Celeb’s and Happy Monday’s Shaun Ryder commenting Rocketman was such a ‘tune.’
Andi Oliver, who was joined by her daughter Miquita Oliver, shed a tear and got nostalgia as she commented: ‘My whole childhood was [Elton].’
Miquita commented: ‘He sounds great. He still sounds good.’

Model Munroe Bergdorf also got teary-eyed and cracking up, remarked: ‘I have a tear. I really love him. I think he’s so great.’
Sir Elton’s headline set on BBC One smashed TV records and received the biggest overnight audience ever for a Glastonbury performance, with a peak of 7.6m viewers.
