Love Island fans slammed Jess Harding and Ella Thomas for comments the duo made about fellow islander Molly Marsh during Wednesday night’s episode.
Tipped to have ongoing issues, Jess has made her opinions on Molly extremely clear from the moment she announced she was interested in getting to know Zachariah Noble.
During the most recent showdown, viewers noticed behaviour from Jess and Ella as both girls sat on beanbags while Molly and Zach hit the gym for some exercise.
While the budding couple worked out with fellow contestant and bombshell Charlotte Sumner, they could hear Jess and Ella swiping at the 21-year-old musical theatre performer.
Later on, the ITV 2 dating show saw its islanders gather for some daring games throughout which jibes were made at Molly being a ‘game player’ and ‘two faced’.
Audience members took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the ordeal and dubbed the duo ‘mean girls’ for their continuous criticism of Molly.

One penned: ‘now i don’t like molly but it’s getting a bit nasty now like [sic].’
Another said: ‘Ella and Jess are giving off hella mean girl vibes [sic],’ while a different user typed: ‘These challenges are OUT OF ORDER [sic].’
Referencing the challenge that asked islanders to pop balloons in sex positions and plant kisses on people they found attractive, fans reacted to what they claimed were pointed tasks.
‘Oi these dares are EVILLLLLLLLLLL [sic],’ an account commented while another said: ‘This ended bad last year.. [sic].’
Ella and Jess’s antics came after Ruchee Gurung became the second islander to leave the villa.
The 24 year old beautician was left without a partner after a surprising re-coupling shook the villa.
Medhi Edno was tasked with delivering the news and said the group felt Ella had a better chance of finding a connection so sent Ruchee on her way.

As she packed her bag and left the villa, the budding star admitted: ‘I thought that I would be disappointed, but I’m not because I tried my best and I was myself. It didn’t work out for me and that’s completely fine.’
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
