Micah Lussier has issued an apology after being met with criticism for her stint on season four of Love Is Blind.
The new series of the hit Netflix experiment landed on Friday but some viewers were left unimpressed with behavior from Micah and her fellow singleton, Irina Solomonova, almost immediately.
They could be seen mocking their fellow contestants for being emotional in the pods when dates became too much, and took steps to eavesdrop on a sobbing Amber Wilder after she was rejected by Paul Peden.
Many were turned off by the scenes and flooded social media with their thoughts, calling the pair out for being ‘mean’.
Micah initially defended their antics and insisted that there was nothing malicious going on, but has now changed her tune, vowing to ‘grow’ from the episodes.
Taking to Instagram, the 27-year-old shared a statement which read: ‘A small note. I have apologized privately to the people that were hurt on the show by my hands. I would like to apologize publicly.

‘An emotional immaturity was shown and I will grow from it.
‘To the viewers I’ve hurt. I’m sorry I’ve triggered so many of you with my behavior. Seeing that person on the screen would make me feel the same anger.’
‘As to my comments being off: I will turn them on in time,’ she continued. ‘I am doing my best to protect my mental health (deserved or not).

‘It has always been something I’ve struggled with, and I know I can not better myself if I’m more unwell mentally.’
‘I hope you understand that I am taking accountability privately,’ Micah concluded. ‘I promise to do better in the future.’
Micah previously claimed that her friendship with Irina, and the moments they were able to ‘make jokes’ about the situation had helped them keep a sense of ‘normalcy’ on the program.
‘For us, it was really helpful to have a little sense of normalcy,’ she told Entertainment Weekly. ‘Being able to laugh and make light and make jokes and, well, maybe sometimes the jokes didn’t land or maybe it didn’t look the best, but we needed that in that moment to feel like a normal person.

‘Because you’re a part of this experience that is so beyond words. To be able to make a little bit of light out of such a hard thing was really helpful.
‘[She] and I are both in our mid-twenties. We’re just doing the best we can do. We just have to grow up from our mistakes.’
Love Is Blind is available to stream on Netflix now, with new episodes released on March 31.
