A toddler and a woman died in a crash with a lorry ‘while broken down’ on a road in Lincolnshire.
Humberside Police rushed to the A180 where the white lorry travelling westbound had collided with a stationary blue Ford Focus.
The incident happened between Stallingborough and Brocklesby, at about 9pm on Friday.
A 34-year-old woman and three-year-old boy were travelling in the Ford, which is believed to had broken down in a live lane of the carriageway.
The two sustained fatal injuries in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their families have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist trained officers and partnering agencies at this incredibly difficult time.
