EastEnders icon Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been at the centre of the soap drama for a huge 1000 episodes, having burst onto our screens in 2013 with the rest of the Carters.
In a sweet behind the scenes video, Kellie thanked the team at EastEnders for helping her reach this incredible milestone.
‘Thank you so much for giving me the chance to bring Linda to life for you, EastEnders!’ The actress said.
Kellie was gifted a bouquet of flowers by producer Chris Clenshaw as she wrapped on the last scene of her 1000th episode.
‘I was so touched,’ she said, ‘I couldn’t actually believe it.’
‘I’ve seen other people reach their thousand milestone and I’m quite surprised that I’ve got there, to be honest!’

Linda Carter has been involved in many hard-hitting storylines across her 1000 episodes, including a battle with alcoholism and being raped by brother-in-law Dean (Matt Di Angelo).
Much of her time on the square has been spent as one half of fan favourite couple ‘Milinda’, alongside Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).

With Danny set to depart the show in coming months, Kellie confirmed in the video that she plans to stick around.
‘Long may it continue!’ She said, in reference to her time on the show.
