Senator Mitch McConnell provided an update on his health, confirming he was briefly unconscious following a fall last month and is recovering from a mild case of pneumonia. He remains hospitalised for physical therapy, awaiting clearance to return to the Senate. McConnell intends to continue his work despite his health challenges.
A significant fire in Walthamstow, east London, led to the evacuation of hundreds of residents as flames engulfed a house and railway embankment.
