Waukesha parade suspect Darrell Brooks charged in court, as child is sixth victim to die
The Metro says Darrell Brooks, the sole suspect in the deadly Christmas parade attack that killed six and injured at least 62 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, has been charged with five counts of intentional homicide.
The death toll from Sunday’s attack has also grown — news that a child is now the sixth person dead from the parade was shared in court Tuesday. While prosecutors did not name the sixth person killed, reports saying it was eight-year-old Jackson Sparks have been shared on social media.
Brooks, 39, allegedly rammed his red SUV through barricades and into the crowd at Waukesha’s annual Christmas Parade, unleashing mass bloodshed and horror.
