Jovenel Moise: Wife of assassinated Haiti President thanks medical team from her hospital bed
The i says the widow of murdered Haitian president Jovenel Moise thanked staff for helping her through a “terrible time” as she shared a photo of herself recovering in her hospital bed after watching mercenaries “riddle her husband with bullets”.
The country’s first lady was injured in the attack on 7 July which saw a hit squad break into the family home to shoot her husband dead.
Following the assassination, she was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
