Nine Insulate Britain activists jailed for breaking court order to block M25
The Daily Mirror says Nine Insulate Britain activists have been jailed at the High Court for breaching an injunction designed to prevent the group’s road blockades.
Insulate Britain, an offshoot of Extinction Rebellion, have been causing havoc on the M25 for the past two months.
They were in September given a High Court injunction banning them from disrupting the motorists further, but the campaigners defied the order on several occasions to carry on their protest.
