The Premier League is back tonight after yesterday’s eventful matches that saw Arsenal return to the top of the table, and City in third place – on the same amount of points as Liverpool (but in third due to goal difference). There is just one point separating Manchester City and Liverpool from Arsenal – and with Liverpool in action tonight, they could return to the top of the EPL table. 

According to Sarina Wiegman, England captain and defender Leah Williamson is “fit and ready” to return to the England squad in Friday’s Euro 2025 qualifier against Sweden.

The Hamas-run military has said the number of people killed in Gaza since 7 October has risen to 33,037.  The toll includes 62 deaths in the last 24 hours. 

The number of people injured since 7 October now stands at 75,668 the ministry statement adds.
