Jerome Powell, the head of the US Federal Reserve, dismissed speculation that former President Donald Trump could remove him from his position when he returns to office in January 2025. Argentinian authorities have charged three individuals in connection with the death of Liam Payne. Among those charged is a person who accompanied Payne at the hotel, and a hotel employee and another individual have also been charged with drug-related offences.

The Israeli parliament has passed a law allowing the government to deport family members of individuals convicted of terrorism, including Israeli citizens. The legislation applies to immediate relatives, such as parents, siblings, or children, of those found guilty of committing or supporting acts of terrorism.
