At least 2 injured in attack on Swedish shopping centre
The Metro says AT LEAST two people have been seriously injured after an attacker went on a rampage at a shopping centre in Sweden.
Police say they detained one person on the spot following the apparent knife attack in Vasteras.
Local media suggested the number of people hurt may be higher and that some of the injuries could be life-threatening.
Officers said in a statement that a sharp object had been used but did not provide further detail.
Swedish daily Aftonbladet, citing unnamed sources, reported that the victims were stabbed with a knife.
