120-year-old crocodile found under classroom floorboards goes on display at school
The Metro says a 120-year-old saltwater crocodile unearthed in 2019 has gone on display at the Welsh school where it was discovered.
Workmen found the animal’s remains – believed to date back to before the 19th century – almost three years ago, under the floorboards of a classroom at Bodringallt Primary School.
Restoration of the skeleton began in September 2019 and was completed over Christmas by local company Pure Conservation, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.
