There is bad news aplenty for the residents of soapland this week, with upsetting developments all across the board leaving some with huge decisions to make and others forced into dangerous situations.
EastEnders picks up from where it left off with the kidnap storyline, with Keanu Taylor descending to new lows that put mum Karen in serious danger of being caught out.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Carla Connor return to the cobbles with bad news, and there is more to come as she makes a huge revelation to the factory employees.
Over in Emmerdale, Lydia Dingle makes a big decision following the murder of Craig Reed, while Hollyoaks sees Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox going around in circles, with passion on the cards once more.
And as for Neighbours, well things get really interesting this week, ahead of the game-changing flashback episodes next week.

Albie is still missing and the residents of Walford join the search, while Sharon confides in Phil about the £50,000 ransom note, with the hardman agreeing to give her the cash.
Phil insists on doing the money drop himself while Karen urges Sharon to let her do it, with Sharon subsequently agreeing to the latter option.
Karen meets with Kandice’s husband Malcolm to retrieve Albie, attempting to act normal for fear she’ll blow her cover. But will Karen and Keanu get away with their crime?
Or is it prison for the pair?
A huge return rocks Neighbours as Toadie’s world is turned upside down

Ever since Neighbours returned to screens, fans have desperate for answers in regards to what went down during the show’s time off air.
The blanks, however, will be filled in in upcoming scenes with a huge flashback week on the cards and, ahead of that, Ramsay Street is rocked by the return of a familiar face, with Toadie left speechless.

Paul attends his speech therapy session while Billy has a meeting with the bishop, hoping to get his job back. The bishop lifts his suspension, much to Billy’s glee, but there’s heartbreak to come, with Paul being told by the MND nurse that he only has 6 to 12 months to live.

The police continue to investigate in the aftermath of Craig’s death. Lydia, meanwhile, resolves to move out as she goes to stay with Kim, leaving Sam worried that he’s lost her for good.

Despite a setback at the masquerade ball, Sienna ups the ante in her mission to win Rafe, resolving to get Camilla out of the way, with some assistance from Ste. After giving it some thought, she decides to spike Camilla at an event, hoping to make her look unreliable, but Ste has his doubts about the plan, with some shocks on the cards as everything goes awry.
Bobby fights for his life as the cafe goes up in smoke in EastEnders

With Sonia having put the idea in his head, Rocky suggests to Harvey that he burn down the cafe and claim on the insurance.
With Kathy awaiting his arrival for a romantic dinner, Rocky sets fire to the cafe following another spell of dodgy electrics. While out and about, Bobby spots the blaze at the cafe and attempts to extinguish it, but it explodes and knocks him unconscious, trapping him inside.
Carla returns with bad news in Coronation Street

Carla returns from a fruitless business trip to find Michael back at the factory, with Sarah sticking to her guns on the matter. There’s more horror ahead, however, as they’ve no way of paying the staff thanks to Stephen – unless they can complete the new client order by tomorrow.
Carla lies to the staff, assuring them they’ll all be paid, but when they uncover the truth they down their tools. Carla and Sarah make it quite clear that, if they don’t help, the factory is finished.

Bernice is keeping a big secret as she receives a series of mystery phone calls but just what is going on?
Mercedes and Warren can’t fight this feeling any longer in Hollyoaks

Mercedes pleads with Warren to spend more time with Felix but, riddled with guilt, he refuses. With things spiralling out of control, Mercedes decides to drive to Plymouth to visit Bobby, with Warren offering to take her.
While on the way, the car breaks down and tension rises, with Warren admitting that he wants Mercedes. Mercedes confesses that she feels the same, with the two getting closer and closer.
Cindy and Ian face the consequences of their actions in EastEnders

Cindy and Ian reluctantly make plans on the renovation of their new shop ‘Beale’s Eels’, but the Knights are appalled at them for their new business plans. This shock likely stems from the fact that Cindy’s silent partner is none other than Dean Wicks, who staged a comeback last week.
