Gallows and Anderson are back (Picture: WWE)
The OC is back in business in WWE after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made a shock return on Raw.
The Good Brothers are back in WWE – despite Anderson being the current NEVER Openweight Champion – and reunited with their longtime friend AJ Styles in his battle against the Judgment Day.
Dominik Mysterio, with the help of Rhea Ripley, attacked his legendary dad Rey following the latter’s with over Chad Gable, and the duo were joined by Finn Balor and Damian Priest as they bragged about Balor’s win over Edge at Extreme Rules.
Styles would interrupt the group and appeared ready to join, insisting Finn was right and he needed some friends after having his back against the wall for too long.
He hugged the Prince before revealing he didn’t actually mean Judgment Day, with Gallows and Anderson instead making an unexpected return.
The crowd reacted in a big way to the return, and the subsequent brawl that following as Rhea helped Dominik escape while the OC chased off the remaining members of Judgment Day.
This was a perfect way to re-debut Gallows and Anderson, instantly injecting them into a high profile spot with Styles and reestablishing a group the fans are clearly still massively behind.
It gives AJ some much needed backup and gives Judgment Day as a whole something to do outside of Dom’s family feud with his dad.
The fascinating aspect to it all is the status of Gallows and Anderson, as they’re clearly back in WWE but the latter holds gold in Japan, so it remains to be seen if he’ll be able to drop it in the near future.
The show also saw Brock Lesnar make a shock return of his own to absolutely destroy Bobby Lashley before the All Mighty had to face Seth Freakin’ Rollins with his United States Championship on the line.
Lashley couldn’t get the win, giving Rollins some much-needed gold, and the former champ finds himself in the high profile feud he deserves with the Beast Incarnate.
WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
