Woman 60 killed after being attacked by dogs inside a property.
Officers from Merseyside Police rushed to the scene of the incident in St Brigids Crescent, Liverpool, at around 4.25pm today.
More than a dozen police cars, three ambulance vehicles and a fire engine took over nearby Silvester Street and police put a cordon in place from Vauxhall Road to Alderney Road.
Forensics officers arrived at the scene around two hours later and were seen entering the home and taking pictures outside.
The woman was pronounced dead at the property and her next of kin have been made aware.
