Metro – Winches from death
The Metro reports on the dramatic rescue of a stranded builder from the roof of a burning building using a crane.
The front page features a striking image of a fire at a development in Reading town centre. A worker from the roof close to the burning building was lifted to safety by a crane operator. “Winches from death” is Metro’s clever headline.
