Daily Mirror – Wills: It’s Andrew or me
Prince William threatened to pull out of a royal procession at Windsor if Prince Andrew was allowed to take part, the Daily Mirror reports. It is believed a “family decision” was taken to limit the Duke of York’s appearance on Garter Day to a behind-the-scenes lunch and investiture ceremony.
Andrew will not be seen in public during the event, one of the most colourful in the royal calendar, after Prince Charles and Prince William reportedly lobbied the Queen about his participation.
