Caleb Milligan (William Ash) finds himself with enemies aplenty in Emmerdale next week, with the ITV soap lining up a whodunit storyline involving the show’s resident schemer.

With the events of the previous week having sent shockwaves through the village, Caleb faces serious questions, with the Dingles resolving to decide his fate with a good old-fashioned visit to Dingle court.
Caleb, however, refuses to let his fate be decided by his family, showing up during proceedings to make it quite clear that he’s not going anywhere, which further antagonises Cain (Jeff Hordley).
Charity (Emma Atkins), meanwhile, is left heartbroken over the fact that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) are growing closer, drowning her sorrows with village pariah Caleb, with the two spending the night together.
The pair resolve to keep their night of passion a secret, but the truth is exposed in the Woolpack during a heated showdown, leaving Mack enraged, as he squares up to Caleb, vowing consequences on the schemer, much to Chloe’s dismay.

Word of Caleb’s actions reach Cain, who fumes at his brother, with Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) forced to intervene, with the latter kicking Caleb out after a number of punters reveal their true thoughts on what Caleb has done.
Caleb pays the price for his crimes, with a mystery figure attacking him, leaving him to die on the ground. But just who is to blame? And will Caleb perish as a result of his injuries?
Or will he be found before it’s too late?
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday June 12 and Friday June 16 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
