The pods are officially open as a new batch of singletons are taking their chances with finding the loves of their lives without actually meeting the person face-to-face.
For those who may be unfamiliar, Netflix’s Love Is Blind sees men and women date each other behind a wall, and only see each other for the first time if, and when, they propose and get engaged.
The popular series, which last season brought us the unpredictability of Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee along with all the drama between Natalie Lee and Shaina Hurley, first hit our screens in 2020, and has been renewed for a total of at least five seasons.
Leading the way, are power couple Nick, 48, and Vanessa Lachey, 40.
Who is Nick Lachey?

The US TV personality duo rose to fame in the early 2000s, when Nick was the lead singer of boy band 98 Degrees, who achieved eight top ten singles, including Because of You.
The band split in 2002, and a year later Nick went on to star in the 2003 show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica with then-wife, Jessica Simpson, whom he started dating in 1999.
The couple divorced in 2006 citing ‘irreconcilable differences,’ with Jessica later recounting the details of their divorce in her tell-all book, Open Book, which she released in late February.

Vanessa is an American actress, beauty pageant titleholder, model and TV host.
She’s hosted shows such as Top Chef and Total Request on MTV, as well as been a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.
She was named Miss Teen USA in 1998 and competed in the 2017 series of Dancing with the Stars.
When did they get married?
Nick and Vanessa met soon after his divorce, in 2006, while shooting a video for Nick’s solo song, What’s Left of Me, where Vanessa – née Vanessa Minnillo – was starring.

They broke up briefly for a few months in 2009 before becoming engaged in 2010 and marrying in July 2011.
They tied the knot in none other than the British Virgin Islands on Richard Branson’s property.
They told Hollywood Life in 2019 the secret to their happy marriage was ‘communication’ adding ‘Marriage is not a walk in the park. No relationship is a walk in the park.’

Together, Nick and Vanessa have three children: Camden John, 10, Brooklyn Elisabeth, 7, and Phoenix Roberts, 5.
