For a tasty new way to snack on avocado, try frying sliced pieces in an air fryer – in a similar way to sweet potato and courgette fries.
A recipe, from Ocado, says to slice your avocado halves into long fingers and coat each in flour seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper. Then dip the floured fingers into beaten egg and then roll them in panko breadcrumbs. Repeat this process twice for a thick, crunchy coating.
Then, pop your fries into the basket and cook for seven minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time.

Another Ocado recipe explains how to make your own cheesy bites at home.
Simply take string cheese and coat in seasoned flour (dried oregano, salt and pepper will do the trick), beaten egg and then breadcrumbs, repeating the process twice through . Cook for 6-7 minutes until golden-brown and molten.
And there you have it: DIY mozzarella sticks.
