Monday
Panorama October 7 – one year one (BBC ONE, 9 PM)
Panorama – Jane Corbin reports on the lives of families in Israel and Gaza, and their experiences of 12 months of conflict that has changed their lives forever. Tens of thousands of Gazans are reported to have been killed and much of the territory has been reduced to rubble. With many Israeli hostages having died in captivity, dozens more still being held by Hamas and violence now spreading to Lebanon, a deal to bring peace looks as far away as ever.
Joan episode 4 – (ITV1, 9 PM)
Joan – Boisie and Joan buy an engagement ring while the police search for the missing Stubbs painting at Boisie’s store, but find nothing and Joan is adamant that they have to get rid of the artwork and go straight. As the law closes in, Boisie struggles to find a buyer for the painting and turns to Albie for help, while Joan is dreaming of her own business.
Tuesday
Titanic in colour – (4MORE, 9 PM)
Titanic – Part one of two. Documentary about the doomed ship, featuring photographs and film footage that have been specially colourised for this series, many for the very first time. This first episode follows the Titanic’s construction in Belfast to the final photo before setting sail into the North Atlantic. Personal stories from passengers’ relatives capture the excitement of the brand-new ship, and the Titanic’s luxurious interior is brought back to life.

Ludwig – (BBC ONE, 9 PM)
Ludwig – Armed with new information about Chief Constable Ziegler, John returns to the police station to get closer to DI Russell Carter, his brother’s new partner who arrived the same time James went missing. A new case takes John and Russell on a walking tour of Cambridge as they try to figure out why someone would kill a tour guide they’d only just met. Lucy makes a shocking discovery of her own as she goes undercover to investigate what happened to conspiracy blogger Roger Sinclair.
Thursday
Sweetpea – (SKY ATLANTIC, 9 PM)
Sweetpea – Rhiannon Lewis doesn’t make much of an impression, people walk past her in the street without a second glance. Then everything in her mundane life turns upside down and she is pushed over the edge and loses control. Comedy drama, starring Ella Purnell.
The Penguin – (SKY ATLANTIC, 10 PM)
The Penguin – Hoping to control the future of Gotham’s drug trade, Oz and Sofia must first address the skeletons in their closet. Victor is torn between his new life and what remains of his old.
Friday

The Graham Norton Show – Hollywood stars Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez discuss appearing together in acclaimed musical comedy drama Emilia Perez. Comedy actress Miranda Hart talks about her funny and revealing memoir I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest with You and Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa reflects on taking to the National Theatre stage in The Importance of Being Earnest. Plus, Rag’n’Bone Man performs a track from his new album What Do You Believe in?
What to watch on Netflix this week?
The Mendez Brothers – Following the newly released Ryan Murphy show on the notorious brothers, Netflix sits down with them – still behind bars – after nearly 30 years in prison for killing their parents.
Heartstopper – The brand new season has arrived on Netflix – all eight episodes of Heartstopper Season 3 arrived on Netflix. Oseman said that it’s a more mature season than the previous ones. “In Season 1, they feel like kids, but now they are definitely teens,” she said. “The actors are a lot older as well, so I think that just automatically ages up the show.”
