Another hot-button issue in Arizona is abortion access. The state has been at the centre of a fierce debate after Republican efforts to reinstate a near-total abortion ban from 1864 failed. The issue has become even more divisive since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, ending the constitutional right to abortion.
