Morning fog patches will slowly clear from the southeast of England. A band of showery rain will push southeastwards across England and Wales through the day. Plenty of sunny spells for Scotland and Northern Ireland, with a scattering of showers. Tonight, many places will be dry with clear spells. Areas of fog are likely to develop across central, southern and southeastern parts. Outbreaks of rain arriving across the far northwest later.
