UK Heatwave has its health risks
The Times says hot summer sunshine has been in abundance over the past week or so as high pressure has parked itself across northern France and Britain. After all the rain earlier in July, for many the sunshine comes as a relief with people swarming to beaches and parks to sunbathe and swim.
Heatwaves bring their own set of risks, however, as a series of drownings in the country’s waterways has proven.
