UK Covid deaths horror as more than 200 recorded for third day in a row – lockdown fears
The Daily Express says UK COVID-19 deaths have soared above 200 per day for the third day in a row, with new cases over 37,000, according to the latest daily data.
214 more deaths attributed to COVID-19, and 37,269 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the latest daily statistics for the UK. This marks the third consecutive day that the number of deaths has exceeded 200.
On Wednesday, the figure stood at 217, and 293 were recorded on Tuesday.
