Covid-19 deaths remain low, cases soar
Covid-19 deaths in England and Wales have remained low despite the massive rise in cases, new data shows.
A further 109 Covid deaths have been recorded across England and Wales between June 25 and July 2, according to Office for National Statistics figures.
The figures show a slight increase on the week before but is still a low figure when compared to the sharp rise in cases.
