Salazar puts up quite the fight (pic: Capcom)
There is a secret way to take down Salazar in just two strikes in the Resident Evil 4 remake, according to dedicated Twitch streamer Larxa.
Ramon Salazar, the boss of the castle area, is a challenging foe in the Resident Evil 4 remake. Despite his small size, his boss fight is one of the most difficult in the game.
Fighting Salazar can prove deadly as he transforms into a creature with tentacles that enable him to move quickly around the fight area and catch you unawares.
Moreover, his monstrous form possesses the ability to unleash acid spray attacks unexpectedly, that can do a lot of damage at once.
Luckily, there’s a shortcut to make this boss battle a cakewalk and even take him down in just two whacks.
Streamer Larxa, famous for completing Elden Ring using only her voice, took to Twitter to share a video of her epic showdown against Salazar.
Larxa surprised both herself and her viewers as she hurled a golden chicken egg at the boss, sending him crashing down and exposing his weak spot for a decisive strike.

Seizing the opportunity, she tossed another egg which dealt the final blow to Salazar, triggering his death cutscene.
Although golden chicken eggs are relatively scarce in the Resident Evil 4 remake, there are a few specific locations where you can always count on finding them.
One such location is the chicken pen in the lake area where the boat is, but be sure to avoid taking random shots at the water while you’re there…
During the Disgrace of the Salazar Family request from the Merchant, you will come across yet another golden chicken egg hidden within a Square Locked Box.
