An actor has been captured smuggling tobacco into prison by hiding it in his anal passage. The series Banged Up has seen seven famous faces locked up inside HMP Shrewsbury, a Victorian prison decommissioned in 2013, to find out first-hand what life’s really like on the inside, sharing cramped cells with ex-cons.
The cast includes EastEnders star Sid Owen, Gogglebox’s Marcus Luther, pop star HRVY, journalist Peter Hitchens, former Conservative politician Neil Parish and sitting Conservative MP and Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Johnny Mercer.
Joining them is actor and comedian Tom Rosenthal, best known for his work on Friday Night Dinner and Plebs.

He then reveals that he has ‘hidden some tobacco amongst my person’.

The actor then starts stripping down as he’s asked by the guards: ‘Have you anything inside your body that you are secreting, i.e., contraband?’
While he shakes his head, he reveals to the cameras later he ‘managed to get some tobacco in’.
When it comes time to retrieve the items, Tom then sits down on the toilet.
The retrieval process is pretty disgusting to witness

He is then seen with his pants down reaching into his bum, but exclaims: ‘Oh man, that’s no good.’
It all becomes pretty gross to witness as Tom shares everything he’s hidden is now ‘covered in s***’.
He then has to think of another way to get it out without making a complete mess and uses some toilet paper to assist with the task at hand.
Once the job is done, he then stands up and must start rifling through the toilet bowl to seek out what he needs.
Tom is best known for his roles in TV shows including Plebs
‘Oh mate, rough,’ he says while putting his hand deep inside and finally retrieves the tobacco, which has been stored inside a condom.
He’s then seen smoking a cigarette outside his window, later sharing he ‘doesn’t like’ being locked up.
‘I was not prepared at all to be in this place,’ he adds.
All cellmates featured in the series have served their sentences and are reformed.
