Trump insists he isn’t ‘cognitively impaired’ after mixing up Obama and Biden

Former President Donald Trump claimed that his mix-ups of ex-President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden were intentional and insisted he is not ‘cognitively impaired’.

Trump, 77, blasted news reports that he repeatedly confused the 44th and 46th presidents in a Truth Social rant on Monday morning.

‘Whenever I sarcastically insert the name Obama for Biden as an indication that others may actually be having a very big influence in running our Country,’ wrote Trump.

‘Ron DeSanctimonious and his failing campaign apparatus, together with the Democrat’s Radical Left “Disinformation Machine,” go wild saying that “Trump doesn’t know the name of our President, (CROOKED!) Joe Biden. He must be cognitively impaired.”’

Trump continued: ‘No, I know both names very well, never mix them up, and know that they are destroying our Country.’

The 45th president has mixed up Obama and Biden at least seven times in recent months, Forbes reported. Clips of Trump’s apparent gaffes have been circulating social media.

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis’ campaign last week shared one such slip-up of Trump saying, ‘We did it with Obama, we won an election they said couldn’t be won.’

Trump beat Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in 2016 and lost the 2020 election to Biden.

On Monday, Trump also referred to his health report he shared on social media on Biden’s 81st birthday a week ago.

‘I just took a cognitive test as part of my Physical Exam, and ACED it. Also ACED (a perfect score!) one taken while in the White House,’ wrote Trump.

‘Biden should take one so we can determine why he wants Open Borders, No Energy Independence, A Woke Military, High Inflation, No Voter I.D., Men playing In Women’s Sports, Only Electric Cars & Trucks, A Weaponized DOJ/FBI, and so many other CRAZY things!!!’

Trump’s health report by his personal physician, Dr Bruce Aronwald, stated that his ‘cognitive exams were exceptional’. Trump seemed to share it to contrast himself from his 2024 opponent Biden, whose age has raised concerns among Americans around whether he is fit to serve another four years.

Biden would be 86 years old if is re-elected and completes a second term. Biden has uttered numerous gaffes, including one on his birthday in which he confused pop stars Britney Spears and Taylor Swift.

Ex-President Donald Trump claimed he confused former President Barack Obama with President Joe Biden ‘sarcastically’.
