A popular trending story across the UK and global trends is the reaction to the unscripted press conference Joe Biden held yesterday. The move was an attempt to reassure US voters of the 81-year-old president’s mental fitness for the job as he seeks re-election in November 2024.
After several gaffes during the press conference – including introducing the Ukrainian president as ‘President Putin’ and calling his own vice president ‘Vice President Trump’ pressure has mounted on the embattled president to step down in favour of letting a younger candidate run.
