The Mirror highlights millions of pensioners are the “biggest losers” following the budget due to stealth taxes estimated at £8bn. In what it calls a “Tory Budget bombshell”, millions of pensioners will now face a hit on their incomes as a result of “Conservative stealth taxes”. It quotes the Silver Voices campaign group as saying this is something older people are “hopping mad” about.
Also on the front is a picture of a smiling Paul O’Grady cuddling a dog. The paper reports his “last adventure” – the final TV show the star filmed before he died last year – will air this Easter.
