It’s time to get those thinking caps on again because TV’s favourite guessing game – The Masked Dancer – is back for a new series.
Joel Dommett has returned to front the show, as 12 more mystery celebrities don some elaborate costumes and bust a move, in their bid to outwit judges Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, new judge Peter Crouch and Davina McCall – as well as try and baffle the folks at home.
Among those showing off their moves on the stage is Scissors – but just who is hiding behind that distinctive-looking outfit?
Here are the clues we’ve been given so far to their identity…
What clues have been given about Scissors on The Masked Dancer?
The guessing game is on to decipher who the Scissors might really be – here’s what we have been told so far:

Who is Scissors on The Masked Dancer?
Sheridan Smith

Sheridan has appeared in Funny Girl and been a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, so the clue’s so far appear to line up.
She has also got a long history as a stage performer, which would make sense as she’s a great dancer.
Dianne Buswell

The Scissors is a natural dancer, so fans suspected that it could be Strictly’s Dianne Buswell, who is known for her bright red hair.
Prior to taking part in Strictly, Dianne also worked as a hairdresser, so the clues are lining up for the professional dancer.
Kimberly Wyatt

Davina McCall was certain that the Scissors were Kimberly Wyatt after a clue pointed to it being one of the Pussycat Dolls.
The Scissors told us in show one: ‘These peepers are feline like they could use 40 winks.’
We know they can all dance – so it is Kimberly or another PCD star under that mask?
Amanda Holden

After a clue suggested Scissors appeared on a dating show before finding fame, Wossy pointed out Amanda had tried to find love on TV.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge’s first appearance on our screens was as a contestant trying to strike up a romance on Blind Date, back in 1991.
Heidi Range

Heidi Range from the Sugababes is our next guest.
Seeing as she was part of a pretty successful girl-band, and starred on Dancing on Ice in 2012, could Scissors be Heidi?
Heather Morris

Guesses have also included Heather Morris, the actress who starred in Glee and has also appeared on Dancing On Ice.
The hints to all things American and the cheerleader pom-poms have left some of the judges guessing it’s the actress who plays Brittany on the show.
