A teenage boy appeared to grin as he was arrested for allegedly shooting a young girl and another teen.

Nico Brown, 15, was arrested on Saturday in connection with both shooting deaths.

Cops responded to reports of multiple shots fired from a moving vehicle at 1141 Poppy Avenue around 8.20pm last Tuesday, according to the Orlando Police Department.

    Two people were shot.

‘One of the individuals, a six year old child, was shot while inside her living room and later declared deceased by medical staff,’ stated the police department on Sunday.

Another victim was shot and rushed to Health Central in Ocoee and later pronounced dead there.

The victims were identified as Ajahliyah Hashim, 6, and Isaiyah Wright, 19.

In addition, the six-year-old girl’s mother was also shot and suffered a non life-threatening wound.

Nico Brown was arrested Saturday on charges of first-degree homicide (Picture: Orlando Police Department)

Brown was charged with first-degree homicide in connection to both deaths. He wore a jean shirt and what looked like a grin in his mugshot.

He appeared to smile as he was led away in handcuffs to a police car and also wore shorts and slides.

An investigation into the shooting continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department’s homicide unit or Crime Stoppers.
