What is Tennis?

What’s the difference between tennis and tennis?
Tennis is the evolved form of lawn tennis and it can be played on any surface including concrete and clay courts whereas lawn tennis is played exclusively in well-trimmed grass courts. The two-game buffer rule is not considered for tennis whereas it is an important rule for lawn tennis.
