Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin are keeping the dog they reportedly fell out over.
The actor, 76, and Jennifer, 54, split earlier this year, with his wife of 25 years announcing in August she had filed for divorce.
It was speculated at the time that part of the reason for their separation was Sylvester’s new dog, rottweiler Dwight, though Sly denied this.
The action legend had reportedly got the dog against Jennifer’s wishes, as she had worried they had too many pets already.
Sylvester later covered up a tattoo of Jennifer on his arm with a portrait of the dog, which – naturally – is said to have left his wife unhappy.
Now however it appears the husband and wife have reconciled, having stepped out arm-in-arm on a swanky date night in New York City earlier this month.

And not only that – but Jennifer is now apparently a big fan of Sylvester’s newest pet.
According to TMZ, sources close to the couple say puppy Dwight is living with the family at their home in Hidden Hills, and the dog and Jennifer are getting along like a house on fire.
All’s well that ends well, we suppose!
The new report is worlds away from Jennifer’s announcement in August that she and Sly were going their separate ways, as she told People magazine: ‘I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone.

‘While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.’
Rambo star Sylvester later issued his own statement, which read: ‘I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.’
A rep confirmed to Page Six this month that Sylvester and Jennifer had begun speaking and ‘were able to work out their differences,’ adding they are ‘both extremely happy.’

The couple share three daughters together, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
