Strictly Come Dancing pro Karen Hauer has split from her husband, according to reports.

The dance star, 41 – who is the longest-serving professional on the BBC show – married Jordan Wyn-Jones one year ago.

However, speculation about the status of their marriage began last week when Karen stepped out on the Pride of Britain Awards red carpet without her wedding ring.

It has now been claimed that Karen and Jordan had a ‘tough time’ of things lately, resulting in their separation.

A source told The Mirror: ‘Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split.

‘It’s obviously very sad for both of them. But there’s no ill will whatsoever.’

Jordan was Karen’s third husband, as she was previously married to fellow Strictly pro Kevin Clifton.

They divorced in 2018 and Kevin is now in a relationship with Stacey Dooley, and they have a daughter.

Before Kevin, she was married to Matthew Hauer for nine years, but they split in 2009.

That same year, they auditioned together on the US reality show So You Think You Can Dance.

Venezuelan dancer Karen wed Jordan in the countryside in Hampshire in 2022, with close friends and family in attendance.

Their guest list included fellow Strictly stars Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk, who were bridesmaids.

Karen looked stunning as she walked down the aisle wearing a handmade wedding dress by Berta, which she described as her ‘fairytale dress’ which she knew was ‘The Dress’ the moment she tried it on.

The newlyweds then had beaming smiles on their faces after tying the knot on June 7 at the luxurious country retreat of Chewton Glen.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine after the ceremony, Karen said: ‘It was exactly what we had envisioned – but even better. It was like a breath of fresh air for us. Everything was easy and happy.

‘I think people will be surprised by the news. Having recently been on tour with Strictly, I couldn’t talk about the wedding out loud, it felt precious to have our little secret in our back pocket, but it’s nice to come out and say, “Hey, we’re married!”‘

Now estranged husband Jordan added of the moment he saw his bride: ‘The second I turned around and caught a glimpse of her, I started welling up. It was something I’d been looking forward to for a while. She looked incredible.’

Reps for Karen Hauer have been contacted for comment.
