Man Utd hero Amad Diallo sent off after scoring dramatic 120th minute winner vs Liverpool
Amad Diallo was sent off immediately after hitting the winner in Manchester United’s epic 4-3 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup.
A gripping quarter-final was heading for penalties at 3-3, only for United to break at pace from a Liverpool corner with Diallo, who had made a breakneck run forward, receiving a pass from Alejandro Garnacho and squeezing the ball beyond keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
As United fans and players went mad, Diallo whipped his shirt off in celebration, which meant an automatic yellow card. Having already been booked, the Ivorian was promptly given his marching orders. Diallo then gave the shirt in question to a young fan before making his way down the tunnel.
