Man Utd fans want ‘Conference level’ Sofyan Amrabat gone after shocker for City goal
Manchester United fans want Sofyan Amrabat out of the club after his terrible mistake gifted Erling Haaland his goal which sealed United’s defeat in the derby.
Erik ten Hag’s side headed to the Etihad as the unfancied and written off outfit given the two sides’ league positions, form and squad availabilities on Sunday. But United stunned their neighbours with a 25-yard rocket from Marcus Rashford that thundered into the roof of Manchester City’s net to give them the lead.
But after a determined defensive resolve, two pieces of magic from Phil Foden in the second half turned the game on its head and gave City the lead. However, United were still in the game until Amrabat was robbed on the edge of his own box by Rodri, who fed Erling Haaland to finally notch his derby goal and seal the win.

Erik ten Hag hits out over ‘reckless action’ following Man Utd’s defeat to City
Erik ten Hag accused Ederson of a “reckless action” in Manchester United’s derby defeat.
Phil Foden scored twice in the second half as Manchester City came from behind to claim a 3-1 win. The champions were stunned by a brilliant strike from Marcus Rashford after just eight minutes but were otherwise dominant.
Their pressure eventually paid off as Foden levelled with a long-range effort in the 56th minute and then put his side ahead 10 minutes from time. Erling Haaland put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time.
After being forced to defend for long periods, United broke away through Alejandro Garnacho shortly before Foden’s second goal. As Ederson came out to confront him, there was contact, with the United man hitting the deck.
