Max Verstappen insists dad Jos ‘not a liar’ and defends him over Christian Horner scandal
Max Verstappen has defended his father Jos following his explosive comments about Red Red Racing team principal Christian Horner.
Horner has faced intense scrutiny in recent weeks following allegations made against him by a female colleague. Horner has always denied the claims and was cleared following an internal investigation into alleged “inappropriate behaviour”.
The probe concluded on the eve of the new season. However, a day later hundreds of WhatsApp messages, purporting to be between Horner and the complainant, were then leaked to the F1 world.

Erling Haaland hits back at Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool trophies ‘mean more’ claim
Erling Haaland has absolutely savaged Trent Alexander-Arnold after the defender claimed winning trophies “means more” to Liverpool than it does to Manchester City.
Tensions are mounting ahead of City’s trip to Anfield this weekend and Alexander-Arnold fired a shot across the bow by belittling the Citizens’ recent achievements. On Wednesday, the 25-year-old brazenly asserted that while City have been more successful in the last few years, Liverpool’s triumphs were worth more given the apparent financial gulf between the clubs.
When asked to respond to the comments, Haaland, 23, quipped: “If he wants to say that, OK. I’ve been here one year and I won the Treble, and it was quite a nice feeling. I don’t think he knows exactly this feeling.”
